Are you sure? LOL That's hella sad, my friend ran a 13.3 in his super lightly modded Camaro SS (1999).

Guys....I swear that I'm trying to install mine, but the Honda dealership said it might be a couple of more days until I can get a gasket. I could have ordered it online if i would have known it was going to take this long. Trust me, I want it installed just as bad..if not worse than you do.

I took my intake manifold off yesterday while installing my new turbo. The intake gasket is reusable, I wouldn't even bother putting a new one on.

how many miles are on your car? I may take the chance and do it with the old gaskets...but i keep thinking what if it leaks....that would suck.

I have 52,000 on my car...I don't think I want to take a chance on using the original manifold gasket, but that is just my opinion.

I trust honda's parts guys about as much as I can throw em.

Check # 8 on this diagram. It's the gasket you'll need

Majestic Honda

It's also cheaper online. I have to pay $12.00 when the one I ordered comes in.

Did anyone plan on getting a new gasket along with their new intake manifold? Someone would have at least had it installed by now....

I got the gasket today so I'll be installing it as soon as I get off work tomorrow. And you don't need 2 gaskets for the Adapter plate, you just use HondaBond for the bottom orffice and you use the factory O gasket for the top of the adapter that the Throttle Body sits on...Or that what KMS told me

I just finished installing the manifold, but there is a problem. Everytime I start the car, it idles from 2000 to 1000 back and forth. I'm going to have my friend look at it to see what he thinks ....It was a lot harder to install then I thought, I suggest taking to a professional.

I think it's just the ECU trying to adjust for more air coming in. You can try to reset the ECU to see if it helps.

I agree an intake manifold is not an easy job on our cars. Try the reset on the ecu and also with the new intake on the car the throttle cable might need adjustment unless the throttle body is in the exact place.

Same thing happen to me when I got my custom intake manifold it is just non stop idleing. I wonder it is because of air leak or what. Anyway keep us update, so we can decide weather or not to order it.
