I really would change it dragon...The gasket could crack while taking the OEM manifold off and you wouldn't even know it. Manifold gaskets have to have a tight seal. Better safe than sorry, right?

when the heck is someone gonna actually quit talking POOP and
install their KMS manifold and take some pics of it.
Chaleenge number 2, tell us what gains and losses you have. Be sure
to state which model civic you have. ie coupe, MT, AT, SRI, CAI, headers.
etc! EX, LX, DX

once my stupid gtech comes in. i'll get off the pot, wipe my ***, and install mine.
I know the whole gtech story so don't bother preaching. once I get a baseline from it, a gain is a gain and a loss is a loss. i'm not looking for perfect numbers just an idea.
i'm almost willing to bet no one is going slap down the cash to get thier car dynoed just to satisfy some curiosity.

There is a dyno up here. $40.00 for three runs on it or $100.00 for an hour.
I saw a vette on it last week get up to 212mph yes two hundred and twelve mph before the guy let off. It was supercharged and hella loud. Sad thing is, I saw him at the racetrack and he only pulled a 13.3 down the 1/4 mile while my friends POS v-dub bug pulled a 13.1

also 3400 mile? do you work at home or something? or have a 2nd car?

I planned on getting another gasket but i wanted to know if i could roll on it if i had to(just a curious question ya know) as far as having a second car i wish, my girl is very helpful and loves what i do with my car so while i liove in apartments she allows me to use her car as long as i maintain it and stuff so it allows me to work on my car and not worry about mileage until i move out of apartments

Im sorry if this is a noob question but i didnt really feeling like readin through 9 pages but if you install the kms manifold will you have to upgrade your fuel system or does it just bolt right on without any problems? What other precautions will have to happen for the intake manifold to work? Thanks guys and once again sorry if this is a dumb question
I was just looking at the KMS website. They have the manifold for sale. It says '2000-2001 Civic Intake Manifold'. I was about to call them for more info, but I'm at work right now. Do they make it by request after the 10 is distributed?
Here's the link. It says 'Custom intake manifold for 2000 and 2001 Honda Civic' so I figure that's the one. I'm going to give them a call. Maybe not today though.

Naw, dont have that kind of money. I have an offer I cant pass up on a Integra GSR engine. I am gonna buy it and drop it into a little 5th gen. I will keep my 7th gen, if I ever get it back from the shop, as my primary vehicle. I am just trying to get rid of the manifold because I need the money for the engine resonably quick.

Is this a GSR engine swap thread or a KMS intake Maniforld thread?
People get off the pot or poop... someone install the IM and show some proof!
How long has this been dragging on now?
