Forget about all them long tube intakes, FIPK rules.[hr]
I just wish that somebody would make a cai like injen's out of plastic. The air pulled by the injen cai has got to be cooler than the air pulled by the k&N. The tube does get warm it's just a question of how much does it affect the air coming through the intake. The k&N is still in the engine compartment and even though it is shielded, the whole area is still going to be hotter than the outside temp imo.

Although, if they made the injen cai in plastic no one would buy it because it wouldn't look as cool.

in low budget, improperly tuned shadetree aftermarket turbo cars, yes. Whats your point? Its a myth that turbo or nitrous are the most "dangerous" forms of adding power. Ive seen many a high strung NA engine blow internals.

Maybe Mango needs to beef up his internals so this super intake doesn't blow his motor.
