Rep Power: 0 i too have the injen CAI .. and when i looked in the engine bay, deciding whether i should switch the CAI to a SRI, i noticed that there'll be nothing hold up the pipe but the clamp on the throttle body .... if this is the case, the pipe and filter will cause stress on the throttle body's clamp and bolts, thus making it loose and may detatch .... so i just decided to leave the CAI alone .... and for insurance, i have had the injen heat/water shield on the filter for some time now ....
EDIT: i can't spell !!

Rep Power: 0 You people should go back to playing video games....
I used my imagination and tried different things to get the short ram to bolt on using the provided scrap of plasic.
Robots and computers do what they are told to do...it is called programming.
People who left their SRI loose because they didn't bother trying out different methods to put it on are also robots.
The directions while helpful aren't set in stone.

Rep Power: 0 Just out of curiosity, does the heat shield actually work? I was thinking of getting one, but wasn't sure if it is actually worth the $50.
