I've heard a bunch of times that the FIPK does more for our cars... I'm going to get the fipk i think.

i'm a former aem cai owner and now a happy owner of a kn fipk. i think the extra $$ is worth it.

if its the same performance gains, I would get the FIPK... its easier to install too I bet.

plus I think it looks better. and. its cheaper. a hundred bucks cheaper.

how does the fipk look better ?? it looks stock... it's black and plastic.... then again i'm biased because i have the typhoon... but oh wellz... do whatever homie... TYPHOON!!!!!!!!!!

i have to agree that the fipk looks better. with my aem cai, all you see is a pipe, but with the fipk there is a nice heat shield that fills up the small engine bay nicely. also, the KN filter that comes with the fipk has a nice carbon fiber look to it. fipk is easier to install and easier to clean.

performance gain is hardly more noticible than with the aem cai, but today i took my car to 6k rpm in every gear up to 4th and it didn't sound as loud as the aem - just perfect. and for those who doubt the effectiveness of the heat shield, after driving around in the afternoon sun, i touch the outside of the heat shield and it was very warm, but when i touch the inside of it and the filter, you can feel the big difference in temperature.
