d17a1 wants to be fast

hey guys so i have a 03 four door lx d17a1 from my grandmother its a 5 speed and i wana get some speed and power under me, ik that the d17a1 is one of the most hated honda engines but i don't care i want to make it work! so what should i do to make it better i bought a CAI, whats NEXT???

if you speel it that clearly, the only response will be:
sell and get faster car.
you only get some WDP (wheel "dog" power) with bolt-on mods in these cars.
