engine replacement

Hello all,

im Hasan from Jordan, im new in this forum, and it's an honor to me to join you in this forum,

i bought a honda civic 2003 hybrid 2 days ago, and i feel like the engine is not powerful enough because of the bad and mountain roads in my country,

my question is if i can replace the engine of my car with a honda civic 2006 hybrid engine, is it compatible ?? do anyone advice me to replace it if it's doable ??

thank you in advance

regards

Re: engine replacement

I don't think you can do it (don't quote me though). They completely changed the engine and hybrid system in 2006. Might be easier to gut it and put a gas engine in it.
