I just got this new SRI and love it!! Sounds cool, looks good, and maybe a little bit more power past 4500RPM. One problem. The damn thing hits my hood! I didn't think this would be a bad thing, but I noticed today at a stop light that my hood was rattling and making noise. Obviously from making contact with the top of the intake. I checked under the hood and saw that part of the intake was definitely worn. Has anyone else had this problem!?!?!?!?!?! How can it be fixed??

I had the same exact problem, what i did to fix it was i took it off and then i re-installed it under those wires i believe their are 3-4 black wires i forgot what they are for but make sure the pipe for the SRI goes under those and you are golden. I had my SRI above those wires and my filter would hit my hood and rattle.
