Headers Question? 4-1 or 4-2-1?
Which one is the best for our cars? I found other articles but dont really answer my question. DC sport or other brand good? Price range with installation?
<< an for my hx??? answers anyone? >>
Have look at HP Racing's 2 piece set up (header + cat)........page 200 in the march issue of sport compact car. I have an HX as well, so I can empathize with your situation. Good luck dude.

I have some DC sports 4-2-1 ceramics arriving friday.. 4-1 is best for racing, because it gives more in the upper RPMs, 4-2-1 otherwise, and since i have an auto myself, and don't usually stick in high rpms all the time, (among other reasons), 4-2-1 for me, the only thing i don't like however, is that there's only 2 piece headers for my car.. :/ (2002 Civic Coupe EX)
Everyone has the Dc sports header, i believe they are very limited. They were made to comply with the emissions. Therefore you are not getting the full potential of the header. And the header they make is just the upper piece. I happen to have the Hp 4-1 Race header, and it is very nice, well constructed, and is a full header all the way to cat, with a brand new high glow cat as well. the only problem is that Hp is not street legal, because it doesnt comply with emission standards. O well i went for it anyway, and for a little bit more than the dc its worth it.
Mostly my 2 cents.
Peace

O yea, and when i spoke to the guy at Hp, they said it happened to produce higher low range rpm's than higher. thats funny, but they also said it produced a great deal of hp, as well. i forgot the number but u can def. feel the difference.
<< They say that the hp race header made more hp than the dc >>
I would think almost any header would make more than the DC. I can't remember where I read this (Super Street, I think) but DC's project 2001 Civic EX only made 5 more hp on the dyno with their intake, header, and TCS cat-back. Kind of lame if you ask me...
