i'm looking at either Thermo-Tec Adhesive Backed Heat Barrier or Thermo-Tec Thermo Shield Aluminized Wrap

what I did to mine is a heat insulation wrap(i know it's suppose to insulate but maybe just use all heat shield and just double lay it), then on top of it is the Heat Shield... it's kinda thick but damn, if I can hold the wrap with my palm after an hour drive it's gotta be cooler underneath it...

Use the aluminized adhesive tape (the 2nd link). You need at least 30' of it, maybe more... I never did the whole thing, but the upper pipe took 1 15' roll to do.
you drive a four cylinder civic just like i do and trust me wrapping the damn thing with hot ice is not going to make a difference...thats is of course unless you dropped a supercharged v12 that produces all that heat wrap needing heat!

keep the cold air cold. i'm thinkin that since the injen is a true cai that it will work better than the K&N once it's insulated.
