crower is producing actual performace camshafts for our cars and many other things thanks to the donor engine that was sent to them. alot of stuff was told to the member who has the engine to expect alot of stuff out including cams to be out in january
On a serious note Crower is the only reputable company thus far to be introducing engine internals for our cars!! (Cams, Rods, pistons, valves, springs, retainers, cam gear, etc) These goodies will be released Late Dec - Early Jan and will be availabe through Crower's dealer list, but TrueHonda (Eddie) wil also be offering the full line of products that Crower releases..
which I suggect that we support our own members....
Anyways prices are still not known.
ARP also makes head studs for the D17.
Hondata is also gonna be releasing their product line for the D17 in late Dec.
The D17 is really gonna come alive soon.......

You guys should definately try getting aftermarket muffler bearings though....really frees up airflow and lets the motor come to life; changes the sound a bit though.

Oh, if your looking for VTECH belts, I think Bosch makes some pretty good "double rubber" belts. They are supposedly better than the kevlar ones...it's some kind of new synthetic rubber compound with imbedded platinum wire strands encased in a fiberglass tape. Bosch's website says they are up to 800% stronger than conventional belts.
But if your gonna get those belts, you should probably get new timing gears....your gonna need four of them (our engines are a quad cam) and your gonna have to replace all 7 tensioners. I personally think it's worth the money.

also our con nooter valves tend to go bad so you might as well change those while you are at it, especially if you are reverse boosted.

Don't most flux capacitor kits eliminate the muflometer anyway? Cause I talked to a guy who had one and he said he didn't have a muflometer...but maybe he had a shop bypass his? I think the muflometer is what makes our cars ULEV vehicles.
hey... i was telling my neighbor about the flux thingy and he said he didnt know that our cars had one.. so he was like.. onteresting.. so i went down to pep boys yesterday and they couldnt answer me.. just nice smiles and said go to my honda dealer.. then i went today asking about the blinker fluid.. the same person that helped me yesterday said the blinker fluid is the same container as the steering fluid.. she said to add more steering fluid.. i added more but didnt feel a difference... maybe i should do a dyno perhaps?
