Too bad claimed hp isn't correct...

Otherwise you could get mad hp...

+14hp and 22tq from FIPK (this has since been changed to the correct 4hp/5tq)
+12hp from a DC Sports header
+15hp from an exhaust
+15-30hp from a huge wing (I've seen huge wings on eBay with sellers claiming +15-30hp before )
+20hp with the eBay chip
+20hp with the eBay electric "super charger."
+5hp from sparkplugs

Oh man, that's like +101hp right there!

i thought the #'s they post are for crank hp and its just less at the wheels, too bad all the hp doesn't make it to the wheels then we'd have 127whp stock and with intake/header/exhaust we'd have like 160 and we could compete with the k20a3 for only 1grand

^dragin, we're only listing stuff that people or manfacturers have claimed increase hp. I've never seen anyone claim that washer nozel lights increase hp, altho you can still make fun of them if you want.

CiViCLiZeD714, who says racing oil increases hp? lol, wtf?

my theory on why parts dont get there "claimed HP".. let me use an example.. say a cold air claims to get 15HP... well when you install that you are replacing your air intake.. and your air intake might add 10hp.. so by replacing it.. you are really only gaining 5HP... not the 15HP that it claims.. thats jsut my theory at least.. cuz when you replace old parts.. you loose how ever much HP your stock parts have.. but then gain it back plus alittle more from the after market parts

I don't think so. Usually people advertise there things as "+15hp gain over stock," which would include the stock airbox.

Good theory, tho.

Turbo gives the most power. It's a bolt-on right? The car is pretty much tuned from the factory, so aftermarket parts don't do much. ULEV doesn't help us, either.
