I've been reading up lately on this thread and I guess it's time for me to put in my two cents...I go to CU in Boulder, baisically just another poor college kid.
I just got an 01 ex coupe a few months back. It already came with a fair amount of decent stuff (tinted windows, factory spoiler, clear bra, fog lights). I came from an audi A6, so immediatly there was a power difference. I've see a lot of guys on here going with the turbo set-up's...seem's like they all have their share of problems.
Can't wait to see how yours turns out, crackhead! Keep us all posted

Can anyone recommend a good auto body/paint shop? I recently had a slight run-in with a 1.5 foot curb/loading zone at 15th and Market (watch out for that one!) It did pretty minimal damage, just took off some paint. I also want to put clear bra on the entire bumper (the genius before me put clear bra on the hood and side mirrors, but NOT the bumper).
I also see a lot of you guys are from the springs, that’s home for me too.

Oh, I still stop in --- its just that no one seems to acknowledge me anymore. Maybe because I don't meet up or something but oh, well, I still like you, Tai and Donnie, they are great, even Ryan, but oh well. No Biggy, Congrats to Tai on the JRSC. I know it has to be hot in that car, anyhoo. Still waiting on my kit but even then I cannot get the install started until I get the Greddy emanage and then send the kit to have everything Ceramic coated inside and out, by the best Calico coatings, it will be sooo worth it. trust me. laters....l

Hah, thats kind of ironic... I just went to the Delectable Egg yesterday at 15th and Market and I saw the brick wall that you are talking about and wondered how many people have been trying to parallel park and scraped up the whole side of their car. Sorry, I dont know of any paint shops though. Besides Maaco....
Hey guys. I know you haven't heard from me in a while since I left Colorado back in August. So here's the news. I'm living near Kaiserslautern Germany which is less than an hour drive from Nurburgring. The car finally made it out to the shipping depot so I'll be waiting about a month before it gets out here. I'm now getting a Cost of Living adjustment of $540 a month and I got my reenlistment bonus so turbo kit, suspension, and wheels here I come. Like I told Jason, as soon as I can get out to Nurburgring I'm taking a friend to shoot pictures of me racing on the old ring. That's all for now. Later.

Can't tell you how many freaking cars pass you going 140KPH sheesh, good luck getting boosted though, an dnejoy Germany while you can, especially the peopl and when you get the chance at least hit the red-light districts a few times in Frankfurt!

Highrise, can't you try to rub some of that paint off with your fingernail or something? I mean it can't be that bad....sorry to hear it though. I have tons of lil dents and such from others doors and stuff. The metal on these cars is so thin, it sucks.

I PMed you with all the details and I must say that after seeing the specs of what you've done to your car...I would love to see it in person. Being that I have a mechanically bone-stock civic, even an aftermarket intake would give me a rush (I really don't get out much).

I guess that would be a good place to start. I've also heard that Honda is pretty notorious for putting the paint on REALLY thin...just be careful not to breathe too hard on yours, you'll end up worse than I did!

Find a Bear's Car Wash...or I know of a place on 6th and Sante Fe, Fire House or something...that does interior detailing. I see Caddy's and Mercedes' there all the time....
Just a thought
