I dont have the time to look up the ebay link, but everytime I have checked http://car-part.com/ I have found some sort of k20 at a local junkyard for around 2500.

Jason, is there ANYYYY way you would part with your steering wheel if you sell the car privately? I realllly want an em2 steering wheel, and ours would easily swap, and no one would know.

Hmm I've seen that steering wheel on the EM2s/ES2 but I heard from Tai that no it wouldn't work do to the sensors in the steering for the EPS....Correct me if I am wrong eitherway....don't set off the air bag I just replaced one and getting from a junkyard is illegal and from Honda they are about $900, so just a thought, but I could do it lol...

Really? There are several people on this site that have swapped the steering wheel, and I havent heard anything about a sensor issue. I guess it all comes down to what the mighty Tobi says...

2) You HAVE an EM2 steering wheel....you have an EM2 !!! lol (You meant EP3...the Si)
The wheel will work....but the airbag won't.
It has nothing to to with the EPS (Electronic Power Steering)....which is in the ECU and motor bay....not the wheel.
It's just that the sensor male and female ends won't match up and that the ECU has different programming for the different wheels.
The wheel itself will fit, but you'll have to get creative to make the airbag work. lol

Ha ha ha, man I need to start proofreading my posts. I know you have already told me that you are selling your car as is, but I thought it was worth a try.

I am going for sure, hopefully going to the school as well. Also a guy named Chris will probably be there. Chris has an 04 Civic HX coupe, with minimal mods and does pretty darn well in the STS class. You can find him posting in the autox threads.

Dammmmmmn, I was thinking about looking into that as well. I figure the d16 and d17 must be fairly similar. How far along are you, and how much power are you expecting?
Edit: if you put down some good, reliable power I might just be the first person in line for the adaption kit.

Hey guys. Want you all to know I'm still representing CO on the world circuit. I had my first AutoX out here last month and it was a blast. See the link I've got another one coming up in two weeks and I'm expecting to do a little better this time. Oh, and the beer and bratwurst are simply amazing.

Where did everyone go?!
Hey guys just wanted to see how everyones Christmas and New Years went, no to mention where the hell is everyone?!
As far as myself, had to get another job, got my fender plowed, steering knuckle broken, fixed it all, (thanks gawd for steelies for winter) and now just working on getting my JDM folding mirrors done and getting coilovers again after the accodent killed one. Other than that finally feeling the overworked and underpaid at Heuberger Subaru and Volkwagen at $9/and hour from the $14 I was at. I work almost everyday I have off to keep bills low and just wait for my 90 day review to see if at least I can get an apprentice position again even with my experience. Guess it goes that way sometime...Keep in touch guys! ~Steve

I just graduated college, and looking for a place to live with my girlfriend.
Nothing new with my car besides getting broken into a few months back.
I post, and check the forums, a lot more often on www.corep3.com as em2greg if anyone is over there.

Sounds like a lotta good and bad luck going around- Corey, just have to tell you-you suck, I was in Germany 2 years in the service as well and never got to do the Nuremburg Ring, but thats ok, I have other stories
eitherway sorry to hear about your car lilies, I think when you own a Honda its almost a given nowadays but I bet the key is to not be too flashy with your car anymore. Not to mention stock our cars have no security system and even the Honda one is just a "circuit breaker style" sorry to hear nontheless. Greg good to hear you still way up there, and Rob good to hear you doing well. Sorry about not getting to anymore AutoX events, fell otta category but I might just sell the Cf hood and trunk anyhoo so we may see each other again. Take it easy guys, get back here again soon...~Steve
