how directly would this swap into my 95 ex sedan? and how much more would i have to add to that besides whats included with that? i know its obd2 and my cars obd1, but since an ecu and all is included, i would think it shouldnt matter
before i save for that i wanna do suspension and brakes, and also gotta finish paying off my dad so this wont come for quite a while, but i need something to look foward to
i just realized that ill also need a new console, pedals, and a wiring harness, i dont think im missing anything else but let me know if i am

Re: how direct of a swap would this be in a 95 ex sedan?
im not sure about swapping from obd 1-2 ... im pretty sure that u have to rewire your vehicle harness a little and ull need to run at least 2 new wires to the computer for the vtec solenoid the easyest swap is gonna b a b18 b1 out of a 94-95 integra ls. ull need the integra mounts and shift linkage and the wiring will plug right in as long as you get the entire vehicle harness. youll also need to turn the exhaust flange about 20 degrees and leingthen it by an inch but its a pretty straight swap ... oh you need the integra axles too and but the b18 c is a better motor if ur gonna stay naturally aspirated, however if your planning for turbo , get a b1 and a high lift low duration cam and heavier valve springs and youll fly past the type r motor
Re: how direct of a swap would this be in a 95 ex sedan?
It spent over 6k putting a b16 in my 95 ex. when u doing a swap, its only smart to buy all new parts. Timing belt, water pump, clutch, flywheel, gaskets, etc... You already have the motor out and its a lot easier to do all this work while its out. So account for all the stuff you need. The motor mounts you can get a kit from hasport or you can use the two side mounts for that motor and get a 99/00 si Rear mount. Shift linkage, you can the hasport shift linkage. Going from obd1 to obd 2 is just not worth all that work. Also, I believe if you was going to use any tuning software, obd 1 was the route to go. I know when I did my swap, Hondata only worked with obd1 ecu. This is why many companies like skunk 2 have obd2 to obd1 conversion harnesses. axles would work from 99/00 si. Pretty much any parts that you would need would be from a 99/00 si for mounting the motor. Other than parts and time, if this motor will fit direcly in, yes. No major modifications are needed. Enjoy, I know i enjoyed my b16 in my eg coupe.
