Brake Light, 94 DX
First post, hope I don't mess this up too badly.
I bought a 94 Civic DX from a buddy who quit driving it as there was a crack in the top of the radiator and I needed a car badly. I said what the heck, bought it from him, replaced the radiator and thermostat, timing belt will be replaced next week, and I have a car again!
Then suddenly I noticed the brake light on the dash wont turn off, even when the e-break is down. Not a problem if the car is off, but it has freaked me out a few times driving around town and I suddenly see a red light in my peripheral vision on the dashboard.
I want to say I've seen a similar issue with 98 Civics that has to do with a contact under the dash needing to be resoldered when this happens.
Any clues where I should start looking? I was thinking of pulling and replacing some fuses, as my cigarette lighter doesn't seem to work either.

Re: Brake Light, 94 DX
The light can be activated by either item, you will need to isolate which one is making it light.
