Horn wiring and what are these?

I have a 1994 Civic 2dr EX that I just bought and trying to fix all the issues the PO inflicted. The horn buttons were removed with a button on the dash as the horn. Here are some pictures of wires I am trying to figure out where they go in the drivers side front of the car..please help.
Hopefully one of these connectors goes to the horn...but my cooling fan keeps coming on with the melted connector.

I would start from scratch. You would just need a relay an inline fuse holder and some wire. (assuming there is a horn already there)

Re: Horn wiring and what are these?

Horn is there and grounded to the frame. I have no problem running a wire through the fire wall up towards the horn...but do I run it up into the steering wheel or attach it where?

Re: Horn wiring and what are these?

If you are going to use the factory horn button it could be more work. Do you think the factory stuff is still there ?? ( you mentioned an external horn button)

Either way the only wire needed coming through the firewall is only going be a ground for the horn relay coil.

Re: Horn wiring and what are these?

I dont know exactly how much is there or removed from the stock wiring. When I bought the car the stock horn buttons were popped out of the wheel and there was a button (looked like a staples "easy" button) stuck to the dash. It had a wire going to the fuse box and another going to the horn. Where would the stock horn relay be?

Re: Horn wiring and what are these?

The stock horn relay would be in the under hood box.

If the wiring for the factory button on the wheel is not functioning...?? It may be a challenge to restore. May be the reason they had another button.
