1995 Civic DX timing belt sliding.

I just replaced the timing belt, tensioner and water pump on my 1995 Honda Civic DX. When I run the car the timing belt starts to slide towards the edge of the pulley. Because I'm scared of it coming off I haven't actually run it long enough to see if it will settle or slide all the way off. Ive tried measuring the pulleys while cranking it by hand and they don't seem to wobble or be bent. I've also tried messing with the tension on the belt to no avail. Any ideas as to what is causing this? Should I keep running it and see if it will settle or is it not worth the risk and I should correct this misalignment first?
