I have a Bone stock, untouched 95 civic hatchback vx with the 1.5l motor. Was running great like always now Car will start when it's cold as soon as it gets warmed up she dies, it turns and cranks sounds like she wants to fire but won't has to sit a long time before it'll start again, I put in a new battery new main relay and new icm, plugs wires cap and rotor are good, is there any possibility it could be something with the alternator? No CEL, was gonna pull the alternator and have it checked then possibly an ignition coil. Any help is appreciated

Got a scanner to read live engine data from the computer?
While it will not start, what is the ECT value?

While it will not start, does it still have spark?

I don't have a scanner I have no idea what ect value is and I don't think it has spark I can hear the fuel pump kick on when I turn the key off then on

Engine Coolant Temperature, as seen by the engine computer.

If the engine coolant temp sensor gets flaky (they sometimes do) and the computer interprets the reading as much colder than what it really is, it leads to flooding and hard or no start.

I forget if a 95 allows this easily though. Meh, it's not OBD2 so probably not.
Prove it.
