Sticky Shift

Hello,
This is my first post to this forum, and, after looking around, I hope this place can help me with some much needed information: My shifter seems to get stuck which forces me to go into neutral to retry. I'm currently driving a 90 Honda Crx Si. I do not know much about cars; however, I've been using this vehicle to teach myself! Anyone have any ideas how I can fix this? Thank you!

Re: Sticky Shift

Get it to a mechanic.

Possibly clutch related.

Re: Sticky Shift

Hmm okay, I was just curious if there was something I can do about it as opposed to going to a mechanic.

Re: Sticky Shift

Can't remember if 90 is hydraulic clutch, if so, check clutch fluid level.

Re: Sticky Shift

If it's a cable operated clutch, check adjustment/free play.
