Can't remove front LCA bolt
I'm replacing the front LCA bushings on a 1994 Civic EX. Drivers side went off without a hitch. On the passenger side the rear bushing bolt and mount brackets were not an issue. I moved on to the front LCA bolt. the threaded insert welded on the inside of the crossmember piece is broken off and the bolt just spins. Would cutting a small hole to get access to the other side of the bolt possibly be a safety issue?

vise grips, as thin as possible. I had the same issue. if that does not work, cut a window...

Cutting absolute last resort.

Torch. Pb blaster and vice grips.
drill, easy out.
Drill, helicoil install are all better imo.

I was afraid as much, but it never hurts to ask. If I have to cut a hole, I can weld the piece back in when I'm done. Thanks for your help.
