MAP vs. MAF sensor

Hey everyone, I own a 1999 Honda Civic Si with a stock B16A2. I'm aware that there is a MAP sensor on the intake manifold, but I had a couple questions.

1. Do I have a MAF sensor as well?
2. If not, then are the MAP and the MAF interchangable?
3. If so, then what kind of difference would it make?

I plan on boosting the car eventually, but I am going to spend the money on other upgrades before that.

The reason I am asking about this is because my friend owns a Lexus IS300. He just bought it recently, actually. He took it to the local Lexus dealer just to have them check it out to make sure everything was in working order. the only thing that they came up with was that is MAF sensor was bad. They replaced it and he said the difference in how the car drives was like night and day.

And kind of a tail end question, How many Oxygen sensors would my car have and would it make any difference to replace those as well?

Re: MAP vs. MAF sensor

map and maf sensors do the same job one measures absolute pressure the other measures air flow changing them out wouldn't do anything

Okay, I figured as much, but gotta ask questions to eliminate the possibilities.
