Question Wanna Turbo my D16Y8 Vtec 99

I've been doing a lot of work on my 99Coupe with some NA work, but not happy with power. So I want to Turbo the D16 But as a daily driver. I work 7days a week and live 30mins of my work, so i have a lot of questions.

What kind of turbo kit should i get? (thinking of Edelbrock Performer X from procivic.com)

How much PSI should i run? (Thinking around 6 or 7psi)

Will i have any future problems within a 2-5year span?

Do i have to change any Internals?

Re: Wanna Turbo my D16Y8 V-tec 99

interesting... Anyways for the next bit of information. I haven't really read much but I hear that kit is pretty fool proof I would recommend 7-8 psi on stock internals but the edelbrock comes pre tuned and set with psi so if you're looking at drivability then I would recommend it. You'll need a couple extras and also I would recommend lsd but hope this helps, good luck with it, post pics up when you're done

I plan on runnin with eagle rods, vitara pistons, ARP headstuds and some cams for some internal work. Then maybe i can bump up to more psi the safe way.

Glad to hear you're using this: I plan to keep it much more aggressively up-to-date than has been the case in the past, but don't hesitate to let me know if you find errors or need clarifications.
