Stock 1997 Civic wears tires on edge?

I have a stock 1997 Honda Civic HX that wears the tires more on the inside edge (not the outside edge towards outside of the car). The car is 100% stock and has been kept stock with any replacement parts.

I want to fix the problem before I put new tires on the car. All four tires on the car now are worn on the inside edge since I have kept up on rotating and balancing these tires which have 45,000 miles on them.

What is the problem with the stock suspension on this year of Civic and what needs to be fixed or changed to correct the problem?

Thanks

You have (negative) camber issues, i.e. your tires point like this (imagine your tires are the slashes/backslashes): //[center of car]\\

has the car seen any accidents or anything?

Re: Stock 1997 Civic wears tires on edge?

I bought this car from the original owner with 167,000 miles on it. No known accidents to my knowledge. Clean title when I bought it, but that does not mean it was never in an accident.

The wear is almost exactly even on all four tires. The stock factory suspension in good shape would not cause this at all?

Just have it fixed to factory specs and any unusual tire wear will end? I want to keep my suspension on my car 100% stock.
