Annoying 2000 2-door MANUAL window porblem.
Annoying 2000 2-door MANUAL window porblem.
I inherited my first Civic from a buddy of mine. I actually love this little thing! One dealbreaker problem, though, is that something's up with the driver's side window regulator. It rolls the window up cockeyed and it doesn't go all the way up or even stay in the track to make a decent seal (unless you really work at it by lifting it with your hands palmed on either side of it and cranking it but by bit as you lift.) How can I remedy this? I've had it apart, and have it apart again now, but I feel as if I'm not seeing something stupid. Any solutions from the Civic-literate crowd? Here are some pics:

Double check that the rubber insert is pressed all the way into metal channels and staying in place (had to tack it with a dab of Goop in my 05 to make it stay)
And clean the rubber inserts top and bottom.
