Pull the code(s).

P1457,
Leak detected in EVAP control canister system.

P0500...

Speedometer is not currently working
VSS signal is missing to the PCM, and this is also why the speedometer isn't working.

P1106,
Baro sensor

P0113,
IAT. Intake air temp sensor circuit. Has someone unplugged it while the key was on?

P0123,
TPS V high.

P0135)
O2 heater circuit, primary sensor

Step 1, record codes and freeze frame data.
2, erase codes.
3, key on, see if any codes return immediately. Note.
4, drive car, see if any codes return on the drive.
5, chase the codes that came back.

Several of those could have been set by someone disconnecting things and not erasing the codes. So you start over with only the codes that come back.

Erm, here's a TSB on the P1457 code.....Be aware this is not the only possible cause though. http://www.s2ki.com/stor/library/TSB/a03-001.pdf/

Here's a TSB for the P0500 and P0135, IF it is blowing the #15 fuse (I kinda suspect this won't be your problem here) http://www.tegger.com/hondafaq/tsb/civic/x99-029e.pdf

P1106,
C&P from a Yahoo Answers:
code p1106(BARO sensor range/performance problem). This code monitors Barometric pressure vs. MAP pressure and could contribute to drivability issues.
The barometric pressure (BARO) sensor is built into the engine control module (ECM)/powertrain control module (PCM) and monitors atmospheric pressure. When the throttle valve is wide open, the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor output is
nearly equal to the BARO sensor output. Making use of this characteristic, a malfunction can be detected in the BARO sensor output.

There is a Service News article regarding this code setting if the air filter or air box is clogged with debris etc. I would start by examining your air filter and cleaning out the air box of any debris, leaves, etc.

The system compares MAP sensor to BARO sensor at wide open throttle. An extremely clogged air filter could possibly cause the code....

Re: Check engine light

How did you read the codes?
The same tool will give freeze frame data, if it is a decent tool. If it is only a code reader, you won't get it.
The same tool erases codes.
