I'm hoping that someone can help with my rear defroster that has stopped working on my 96 EX Coupe.

My problem seems to be a bit different than others I've read here. When I push the defroster button, the light does not come on, and the defroster does not warm up. I checked the fuse under the dash and it tested good, and the new one I put in anyway didn't change anything, but I've also read that there might be one under the hood?

A few months ago there were some occasional crazy clicking noises from under the dash near the fusebox, but I couldn't correlate it to having the defroster on, or anything else at the time for that matter, but I wonder if it was the defroster relay dying?

Any direction on what to check, which relay is for the defroster, where to start with a multimeter, etc would be appreciated.
