Check Engine Light

My check engine light is currently on but a meachanic told me that due to the fact that the engine has a broken oxygen sensor, the light will come on. The guy told me that a dummy sensor would fix the problem but I cant find a dummy sensor. Where would I be able to find one or fix this problem?

Re: Check Engine Light

just replace it with the proper one, they are not that expensive and you will need to find out which one it is, either upstream (fuel/air mix) or downstream (emissions control)
