Hey everyone, just wanted to ask you all a question about my JL Audio 12w3. Today when I went to discounttire to get the old wheel covers that they forgot to give me when I went in there the other week to get my new rims and tires, I just leaned them against the side of my trunk. When I got home, one of them fell and was making contact with my sub. I jammed my subwoofer up all the way home so the wheel cover kind of did some damage. Basically it wore away some of the styrofoam rim around the subwoofer. It didn't make a hole though, so I guess im lucky. The styrofoam is kind of thin in this little area that the cover made contact, but it looks like it should hold. My Sub still sounds the same, so I guess I got lucky. Will this have any future effects on the performance of my sub? Tomorrow im going straight out and getting a new grill. Thanks for your help!
