Dynamat?
Alright, I've never heard a system in a 02 civic, so until I get mine hooked up I wont know. Is dynamat really needed? My brothers car didnt rattle much, but my friend who has a celica had to get dynamat for her trunk cause it rattled. How does the civic do?

I just put some dynamat in my front doors where the midwoofs are because the door panels were rattling like crazy....I just got the door kit or something like that..it had 2 10x10" pieces....took most of the rattling away, the woofs seem to sound better, tighter, and are louder w/less volume. That may be in my head though as it's the first time I have ever used the stuff. It got rid of almost all of the door panel vibration though...thank gosh because I was about to rip the darn panels off..
It was expensive. Around 20 bucks but I had a gift card. Well worth it imo.

I definitly need some fatmat. I just have a 12" solobaric and a jl500 pushing it and most of the car rattles. Does anybody have any picture installs of this on the trunk because i really dont know how to do it and where it needs to go.

what about the trunk latch, down there is where most of the rattle comes from. Do i just cover it up or cut around it. Also, does it really help to do the entire trunk like under the spare and everything or would it be better to just make a false floor and put fatmat over that. Anyways it rattles really bad and i cant stand it.

also, how can i stop the windshield from rattling. It makes a sqeeking noise in the roof where it meets the windshield. Other than that everything holds up pretty good.[hr]

so does anyone have pictures of installing dynamat or fatmat, etc? On the trunk lid or the whole trunk. Or could you just tell me how to install it. I'm not sure if i should do the whole trunk or where I can't put it.
