ok right now on my setup I have this:

Optima Yellow Top
200amp Iraggi Alternator
All wireing is Stinger Expert Series
1 Stinger Expert Series 1Farad Cap.

DEI Studio 5.25" 2-way Component System (pair)
-- Directed 2400 Amplifier - 125x2 @ 4ohm - 400 watts RMS total
- These are going in Q-Logic Kickpanels

DEI Studio 6.5" Midbass/Midrange Drivers w/ Crossovers (pair)
-- Directed 2400 Amplifier - 125x2 @ 4ohm - 400 watts RMS total
- These are going in factory door locations

DEI Studio 10" Subwoofer w/ 4ohm voice coil - 400 watts RMS (pair)
-- Directed 1100d Amplifier - 1100x1 @ 1ohm (watts RMS)
- These are going in a dual sealed 10" box behind the seat

This is all going into a Single Cab S-10 for an SQ setup.

Question is about the subs is 2 10" subs on a mono amp an overkill for this system or will that be great?

Or should I go with only 1 10" in a Q-Logic Custom S-10 box and downgrade the amp for right specs..

I'm running two 10W3's in my car with a MTX 6500D mono block amp with stock speakers powered by the stock HU and sometimes I don't think it's enough. I don't think you'll like one 10. Maybe one 12 but if you are going with 10's I would recommend at least 2. I think this'll be great for you setup. Lemme know how it sounds! [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG]

I think your system will sound great with the two tens If they are too loud then turn down the gain

with th studio subs..you'll need the pair or your midbass will out do your bass [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]..
