Static on LCD screen

Ok I just installed a Pinoeer AVH-P6400CD in my car in hooked up a PS2 to it. Everything is fine and works great..my only problem is on the LCD screen theres these horizontal white lines that shoot across the screeen all the time and bugs the crap outta me. But when we hook up a PS1 up to it its fine. We even hooked up 2 different PS2 machines up t o it and the same thing happens. Anyone have this problem and know how to fix this, seems like its the PS2

When you hooked up both of the PS2 machines did you use the same A/V cable? If so, it could have damaged insulation causing interference to the video output.

So you plugged a PS1 into it and it worked fine... And you plugged 2 different PS2's into the same input and it gave you those lines? Try hooking up your PS1 again and see if you get the lines. I would be curious to see if you do. If you don't get lines with your PS1 again then I would consider taking it into a shop and have them look at it. Hopefully nothing has shorted inside your monitor. I don't know why that would happen but crap always happens. Good luck with that.

Yeah its fine with the PS1 but with the PS2 its all static, its not real bad just annyoing cuz there are white lines across it. The A/V cable end that is in the monitor stays plugged. I just switch Playstation at the other end.

what kind of TV is it. If its cheap like a emmerson or pyle, it only has 200 lines or less of resolution and that means that a ps1 will work with a low quality but ps2 has dvd quality like 780 to 980 and may be overloading the tv. Try hooking up dvd, and I bet the same thing will happen.
