Stuffed wire thru firewall

I put an amp powerwire thru the grommet in the passenger footwell. im afraid water might get in, should i be concerned? i just stuffed it in there with that other bunch of wires.. maybe i should tape it up? it seems pretty low to the ground where water might be

It's a double rubber grommet don't worry about it, and you would have to be in a torrential downpour for water to soak it enough to ruin it, you'll be fine.

i was just wondering why the firewall grommet is down by the kickpanel on the passenger's side. if you pop open the hood and check out the wires going into the dash, its clearly on the top right behind where the heating vents above the stereo is. how does it go from that location all the way down to the kickpanel? i'm confused.
