how do i raammat?

I was wondering how i put the raammat on the trunk lid. Is it supposed to cover every single spot underneath the lid or just certain spots or what? Pics would probably be enough explanation if anyone had some. Also, i got a full roll of raammat so i will have more than jsut the trunk lid. Where should i put the rest of it? Should i put a second layer on the lid or is that overkill?

Thanks
Eric

Okay.. seen any trunks with a carpetted cover?.. Basically cover most of the trunk lid..right up to about where the trunk seals make contact. It's easier to install in 3-4 strips instead of 1 solid piece. just use the width of the raam mat and cut about a 10" Strip out and install it.. repeat as needed. Or you can do 1 solid piece and it's hard not to get any air bubbles and such without ripping the matt.

Cheers

Ok, I have covered about 75% of my trunk lid and i can still here the resonance when I hit the lid. How much did you guys put on? I only have 2 10s with a total of 600 W, which is a lot less than some of you have. What's the deal?

your actual trunk lid shouldn't reonate unless your running some serious bass..did you tighten your trunk latch?..if yu have a spoiler often the brake light wire for the spoiler light actually rattles..

I don't have a spoiler and when my trunk is closed, there is a loud noise coming from the trunk and it quiets down when I lean on the lid so if that isn't resonance I don't know what it is. If anyone knows what I'm talking about please let me know.
