Wondering if anyone can point me where to look for a wiring schematic for the 2005 Civic LX to install a remote starter. Just wanna be well prepared for when i install it lol

I would think your remote start kit would have instructions telling you how.

Considering I did ask for a schematic for the car, was hoping someone could point me in the direction as to what wires are what and where you spliced into them.

Did you get the immobilizer override box?
Not going to get very far without one.
When I did my 05 the shop I bought the kit from needed to set up the immobilizer box, I did the rest myself. I might still have the connection list. Or go to a shop and ask nicely for a print out

Looking for the wires needed to splice into, and which harness was used. Figured a lot of people have done this and could chime in easily. apparently not lol

helpful forums, help people .If I wanted to search though thousands of pages of a manual or google, I will, Thought this would be an easy post for someone.

I would bet most people get a shop to install a remote start system, you may be one of a few here. Whatever remote start kit you're using should specify what wires you need to tap into (i.e. battery, ground, ignition, etc). Start there.

You asked for the schematics and we gave you the schematics. If you want a more precise answer then ask a more precise question.

My bad, figured a thread about a remote starter and asking for schematics was a pretty precise area to ask about. But hey, i really want to know what tail light harness i should splice into.....smh

it's kind of an important thing with regards to remote start in these cars, hence why he asked. You don't bypass/override immobilizer, remote start won't work. Same reason you can't just up and get a key cut and expect it to start the car.
