Was looking for some help with an issue I've come across when trying to install the pac swi-rc into my 2005 Honda Civic Lx. For 1998-2005 Honda Models, the instructions indicate that the white wire from the interface should connect to pin 3 (red/green) on the honda20 connector. But on my honda20 connector (blue) pin3 is empty. The only red/green wire I found was in a grey connector of which I'm pretty sure is not a honda20 connector that appears to be for the hazard lights. Not sure if I should scrap my plans for the install as I'm not sure how to proceed. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Controls I'm trying to use Where red/green wire should be in pin3 honda20 only connector with red/green wire but it isn't a honda20 (?) and plugs into hazard lights
Oh. That install guide covers 2 different generations of Civic (part of 6th and all of 7th gen). Not that generations can't have the same setup. It also mentions a brown wire in slot 11 which you don't have.
I would contact them.
Trying to find out what Pin 3 is suppose to be but it seems to not be used.
Dude, those are for the cruise control lol. 7th gens don't have steering wheel controls for the radio. The SWI-RC is a steering wheel control module so.. it won't work.
