Cruise Control no 12v
Cruise Control no 12v
I'm trying to troubleshoot the lack of 12v on my 02 EX cruise control, but there doesn't appear to be a fuse for it, either under the hood or under the dash. When I push button on dash, there's no green LED. Any thoughts?

Dash fuse box #4
Engine compartment fuse box #7
Main switch light is a normal bulb not LED, they burn out but the switch should still work....Switch must be IN for on, out for off. Push it a few times and watch its position closely.
Is this on a coupe or on a sedan? They use very different cruise systems
Manual trans or automatic?
When you attempt to set the cruise (make sure the main switch is actually on first), does the indicator on the gauges light up?

Re: Cruise Control no 12v
I know how the switch operates. It's a manual, and a coupe. Since it's a bulb that could be burnt out, that changes things a bit. Let me check the under dash fuse, I already checked the ones under the hood. Also, I replaced the clutch last weekend, and I have a hunch the switch at the clutch pedal may be at fault. We had to bleed the clutch after replacing it, and this required working the pedal quite a bit. Stay tuned...

See if the little round pad is missing from the tab on the pedal....If that's missing, the switch plunger won't be pushed. Same for brake pedal.
Make sure you check the correct clutch switch too, there are probably two of them.
