LED turning signal
LED turning signal
I want to get switch back turning signals for my 03 civic. Something like this,
http://www.amazon.com/JDM-ASTAR-Extremely-Chipsets-Switchback/dp/B00RV4BOGM/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8
They're supposedly 2.32 inches long, you think they will fit into the turning signal housing of the headlight? Also, should I get load resistors or an electronic flasher relay?

Re: LED turning signal
I would use the solid state flasher. The biggest drawback to them is that when a turn signal bulb burns out they don't change their flash speed. They also don't care about proper bulb wattages so it will always flash at the correct speed.
If you don't choose the proper load resistor you will have quick/slow turn signal blinking.
I don't know if the units you are looking at will fit or not, but honda generally leaves room for bulbs. Since leds don't generate much heat they can get much closer to the lens without causing any issues. Make sure they don't just look cool, make sure they are very visible to signal your driving intentions to other drivers.
