Civic LX High beams not working

Hello, i'm new here, i read a couple of threads, but i couldn't fix my problem.
So, i have an issue with my high beams, are not working all the time, i checked and replaced the switch, checked fusese, checked the drl (found here a topic). The bulbs are good. When high beams are not working i can hear a noise from the right side, inside glove box compartiment, i can't figure exactly from where. I guess this is a common issue and someone can help me with this. I really appreciate any kind of help.

Sounds like the DRL controller is bad, needs resoldered.

Thanks, found that. I noticed that when are not working from the right side is coming a noise. Could be there a relay, another module? In this moment i doubt it is the drl.

Re: Civic LX High beams not working

Seems like everyone else says a relay buzzes behind the glovebox when the DRL controller goes bad. Many DRL threads seem to mention the buzz noise anyway.

Fix is usually a DRL controller-- or resolder it.

I'm in the US, we didn't get DRL on 7th gen Civics.

Re: Civic LX High beams not working

It's consistently the pins for the 2 relays attached to the board that break the solder joints.

I'd just retouch all of them if it were me.

So, i checked and retouch again all solder joints, but the result is the same, also i tried to suspend the drl module, if i unplug the drl connector the high beams are not working at all, but if i leave the drl module connected and pulled off the drl fuse, i can hear the same noise and blue light (dashboard) is working but the high beams not...

I guess it's time to quit guessing then. Get a wiring diagram and voltmeter and diagnose what's actually happening.
