Rep Power: 0 Cluster swap issue
My car is a 2002 Civic Coupe, EX w/Side air bags, 5-speed.
Donor cluster is out of a 2004 Civic EX Sedan w/Side air bags, 5spd
Basically the exact cluster i needed...
It is in, and working thanks to this forum, and several AWESOME posts. De-pinning took... 10 minutes??? piece of cake. Thanks for the video!
Issue - On "key" (power to dash, key is ON) the gauges all take their place, lights check themselves, etc.
1 - The "Man't Req" light stays on.
2 - The Temp gauge rests at "5 o'clock" with the key off. On key "ON" it tweaks out, bounces between 5 o'clock and 6 o'clock.
All other gauges work correctly.
My code reader shows the car at normal temp.
Bad cluster???
I'm re-checking wires, but they all look correct.

So I pulled the cluster back out, and took the shield off the cluster. The temp needle seems to have spun all the way around clockwise. I spun it back around counter-clock wise, and it seems to be "working" but not in the correct place... I know my car doesnt run that hot...
How can i reset the temp needle? just pull off when it's cool, or "warmed up" and put it where it belongs?
Main req is still on...
