Post Any DIY on installing a trunk pop actuator?

Looking for a way I could open my trunk with my remote like on the 8th gen. I have an 05 EX. Anybody done this or know of someone who has? Keep in mind that I'm super novice on installing electrical stuff. I would love to do this but I need a more in depth DIY:

Lol didnt watch the video but our solution will be much easier. IIRC the accord electric trunk popper swaps straight into the 7th gen civic....you then just run the power wire from the trunk popper to the appropriate lead on the alarm system. If you dont have an aftermarket alarm im not sure how you could use it with the remote fob.

Edit- Found the DIY credit to Gearbox.
