Doors won't lock + Key problem
Doors won't lock + Key problem
So I was trying to run a diagnostic test for the srs light on my 02 civic ex coupe. I also changed my battery tried resetting the srs light through the paperclip method. When I was running the diagnostic i used the paper clip for the diagnostic port and it turns out I put the paperclip in the wrong holes since I was lookin at the port from the wrong angle. However I noticed as I was doing this there was a spark between the paperclip and the hole and now my car doesn't recognize the key when I insert it in the ignition (The green key on the dash doesn't show up anymore and car doesn't make a beeping sound when the key is in). Also, now I can't use the door lock button unless the car is on. Anyone else had this problem? I need to fix this quick!

You probably just blew a fuse. Pin 16 in the OBD plug was battery power.
Fuse #9, 10 amp, engine compartment fuse box.
Don't do that again.
Find the MES plug attached in the dash fusebox to erase SRS codes. Look for yellow plug with 2 wires.
