Relay or fuse that control electrical things.

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a relay or fuse that control many things at the time?

one the control the lighting of the car(headlights, parkinglights, dashlight, every light) and as well as the stereo all in one fuse or relay?. if yes where is this relay/fuse located?

i checked every single fuse under the hood and dash and all of them are fine.
any help or suggestion what it might be?

Civic 2001 EX coupe.

Re: Relay or fuse that control electrical things.

Taillights, front markers, licence lights & dash illumination = "small lights" fuse in under hood fuse box.

Headlights are different circuit.

More info may help.

Re: Relay or fuse that control electrical things.

but, is there any kind of "main" relay or fuse that is related with all those things together?

what actually happened is that when tried to install a relay for the electric trunk there was a short, and now all is working but only because i had to ran a wire with a fuse from the battery to the stereo power. kind of it is powering all that. if i remove the fuse of the wire i ran. the stereo, lights, everything stop working, but still able to start the engine.

Are you running the temporary power to the constant power source to the radio ?? or the switched power source to the radio ??

And also... when you have it hooked this way the tail lights etc will then work properly ??

yes i'm running the temporary power to the constant of the stereo, the constant the ground and the ingnition wire are all conected to the car as it must. the only thing is that i added the wire to constant. and with wire all start working again.

but if i remove the fuse of the wire i'm running, the lights, stereo everything stop working.

Re: Relay or fuse that control electrical things.

I don't see a real problem leaving it that way. I would certainly put an inline fuse near the voltage source to be safe.

There may be an open fuse in the under-dash box protecting the MICU.
