Rear Defrost Timer

Hi

I recently bought a car starter but the 01 Civic LX Rear Defrost stays on for a max of 7 minutes.
Due to the extreme weather in the winter, I'd like to increase this closer to 15minutes.

Can this be done ?

i dont think so. its built into the main circuitry

Your defrost comes on with the car starter? WTF? How does that happen?

Yes, the defroster comes on with the car starter, but it would be great to increase the timer on it =\
