After installing new receiver - Missing Clips

Hi all - just installed a new stereo system in my '05 Civic (JVC HDR59 head unit, Alpine rear / Polk front speakers -- Bazooka sub [no comments - i'm not into hip-hop] coming next weekend). All went well, but a few (3 total, out of 20 or so) of the small metal clips that hold in the A/C console unit fell back into the dash. Everything still seems secure, but since i have to tear it open again to install the subwoofer next weekend, I was hoping to replace the missing clips -- but i can't find them anywhere. Searches online to no avail. They're metal, shaped like a bent U, and attach to plastic trim panels and clip into other panels. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

2005 Civic "value" coupe. Automatic tranny.

Thanks, Sean

Re: After installing new receiver - Missing Clips

if you go to the dealer, they'll be able to pull up a pic of the dash and get you the clips. there's a site (can't remember exactly) that sells that stuff cheap, but if you only need 3, the dealer will be about the same after shipping from the site, plus you don't have to wait for them to be delivered.

this is off topic but ebay has "aftermarket" clips for fender and bumper for prolly half of what the dealer charges. they come in packs of 20.

Re: After installing new receiver - Missing Clips

If you only lost a few I wouldn't even bother. I'm missing a few myself and it really does not create any problems. There are far too many on there anyway It's almost like they expect you to lose some. As long as your not missing a lot of them.
