low idle miss

I have an 03 LX. 181,000 miles. New timing belt and new fuel pump along with new spark plugs installed. I have a terrible miss while idling. No specific codes pop up, it just says I have a miss on each cylinder. My engine light flashes at idle and low speeds. At higher speeds it just stays on.
Please help.
Thanks,
Vanman

Re: low idle miss

I have a terrible miss while idling.
Did this problem start immediately after the

New timing belt
was installed?

Re: low idle miss

No, I replaced the belt and had no problems for quite some time.

Re: low idle miss

My car had a similar issue and I did a compression test on it and found that I had a leaky valve. So I'd start with a compression test and see what you find.

I would suspect that your timing is maybe off a tooth.

Re: low idle miss

Got an actual fault code(s)? What is it?

Erase the codes, then run it long enough to flash the engine light again, then immediately recheck to see what code(s) it set.
What's the code now?

If you can figure out which cylinder is the dead hole, you can concentrate on it instead of checking all 4 (for some things).
