Unlucky day, signals and stereo

Hey everyone, so today me and a buddy of mine went to put on an aftermarket headunit on my 04 si anyways, it didnt work... thing wouldnt turn on I think it was short circuiting or something ended up blowing 2 fuses in the process. And about 3hours later we ended up putting the stock stereo back in and now that wont even turn on and even if it did i dont have the security code for it =\ and on my way home from his house i realized that my turn signals/hazard lights stopped working so i pulled over at the walmart to check the fuses and they were fine. Any ideas to what i should do regarding the signals and the no power to the stereo?
Thanks a bunch/

Re: Unlucky day, signals and stereo

you prolly forgot to plug back in the hazard light harness. it will cause all turn signals to stop working. and maybe blew some fuse in the process with the radio. check the fuses under the dash above the brake pedal and also under the hood by battery.

Yea I second what gearbox said. The signals wont work unless you replug the hazzard switch harness. As for the radio check the plug is getting power and check the fuse for the radio.

Check the "back up" fuse in under hood box and plug in the hazard switch.

Hah yeah I was kind of in a rush and forgot to put the harness back on the hazard light, that's working fine now, thank you. I just double checked both fuse boxes and everything seemed fine. I also noticed that the remote to lock/unlock isn't working either

Fuse #9 10 Amp "backup" fuse red in color... Just to the left of the H in the HONDA embossed in the plastic.

There are spare fuses in the box. Use the right size.

exactly. never put a bigger fuse in than what the manufacturer recommends. you can exceed the current capacity of the wire and cause a fire.
