1995 EX electrical Problem

Okay guys so this is my last hope I guess before I have to turn it into a shop or something, I have a 1995 civic ex and when I bought the car the stereo (stock head unit) wouldn't come on, Although my cigarette lighter and clock worked well. I took the stereo out to look for wiring problems but the wires where all hooked to a harness, the stereo had never been taken out, so I cut the harness and tried to install my own stereo but I broke the stereo in the process and now I have no stereo but my clock got very dim and resets every time I turn the car off, also the cigarette lighter comes on but doesn't seem to put out any power. I have already checked and replaced the fuse

Fuse labeled 'back up' in the engine compartment box blown?

You may need a voltmeter and a wiring diagram.

Clock only gets dim if someone branched its positive and watch out for the memory wire as it has to be giving some voltage all the time. Recheck your wiring
