rear licence plate.....RATTLES

i see that the rear licence plate is where most of the rattling is comming from but it's because there are
no damn holes at the bottom screws to bolt it on tight anybody know how i can get this licence plate down
without drilling extra holes into the damn car
instead of having screws i see two rectangular foam peices i guess to stop it from hitting the car ....

how did yall get your plates to stay on tight when u didn't have holes in tha trunk for a screw?

there are a lot of ways to fix that common problem, the easiest would probably be to stick somethign behind the liscence plate, like one of those sticky cork things that go on cabinets, so when the plate hits the car, it doens't make any noise.

the foam stoppers should be doing the trick.. Now are you postive it's the plate itself that's rattling or is it the trunk latch?

I have the same problem but it is coming from the plastic trim from the dealer hitting the plate. I think that is the only rattling I am hearign right now, but I will have to wait and see since I have only had my subs in for about 5 days now.

i used sponge for the same problem. but then another problem came from it. when i washed my car, the sponge would soak up water. so when i'll be driving around, water would drip from it and i'd have UGLY water streaks goin down my trunk so i just took em out, and im going to replace them with one of those rubber stopper thingys.
