Problem With Speakers
I just installed a pair of Alpine SPR-69C speakers in my rear deck a few days ago. Ive been having a problem with the bottom of the speakers coming in contact with a moving part in my trunk.
Here are the parts I'm talking about:

I edited the picture from Grey's Trunk Struts DIY because I don't have a camera.
These trunk supports are coming in contact with the magnets on my speakers. Particularly

Re: Problem With Speakers
thats the issue... most people have to remove their trunk springs becuase aftermarket speakers don't have the right clearance... id say to just go and do the diy trunk shocks...
Re: Problem With Speakers
yeah trunk torsion bars. they just help to open the trunk and keep them open. just do the shock DIY and cut them out. your speakers will clear then.
